Hi all, Suppose the solution of a pde exists and is unique, what can be said about the smoothness thereof? In general, is there some theory regarding the smoothness of the solution and its derivatives and how it depends on the boundary and boundary values? For example, if the boundary values are continuous, wil the solution always be continuous? And what can ...

I just got a 42inch Vizio LCD 120hz a few weeks ago. Before that I had a Philips 26inch LCD. Ever since my transition to LCD a few years ago I have noticed that playing games seems a lot faster (like turning in shooters, etc) on the old CRT tvs. Why is this?

Hi, i have a Fender amercian J bass with a solid piece of wood maple neck and fretboard , and id like to know what to clean it with in order to get back the smoothness the neck used to have when i first bought it. As of late, the neck has begun to feel sticky and grimey, and my hand does not glide across the back of the neck like it used too. Also, the frets have begun build up grime next to...

Is there some way to retain the original smoothness & full quality of the .MTS file but basically be able to cut and edit it? I haven't been able to come up with a way to render yet that is ...

It was really apparent that the "break in" procedure is effective at bringing a new LB pistol into smoothness. But, even after hundreds of rounds my new pistol is impressively tight, still. Whoever has the job of cleaning the new guns after test firing at the factory has a tough job. Those guns have got to be unbelievably tight.

Hello all. I am new to the world of WPF and I was trying to create a button with a Bevel bitmap effect. So I applied the effect with the following configuration: The effect looks good against a white backgound, but if I use a different color behind the button, you can see some ugly white pixels around the corners of the button. I think it's related to some kind of ...

I rinse night from my eyes, as a deluge of icy crystals whirl and settle into soft mounds, silence broken only by squabbling birds scratching winter's crust for sustenance their tiny vee shaped claws the only imprint on virgin smoothness soon to be covered by softly falling feathery dew. Blushing breast of a robin almost lost in blood red ...
