I previously asked a question on this forum relating to the restoration of this radio. Thank you for your replies. I now have another question. The dual can smoothing capacitor needs replacing. Looking at it, it is bulging at the base. I am a little confused about the correct replacement. The service sheet and service manual show on their circuit diagrams that the caps are 8uF and 16 uF (C28 & ...

I currently use Aveda's smoothing serum but it is expensive. Does anyone know of anything less expensive? My hair is a little frizzy from coloring it blonde. Thanks.

What do Snow Leopard's LCD font smoothing settings correspond with, with regards to Leopard? I find the LCD font smoothing setting for my 13" MacBook Pro absolutely awful when used with certain sites, so I've turned it off. However, on Leopard there were more than two settings, and I was wondering what Snow Leopard's settings correspond with in Leopard 10.5 terms. My guess is: ...

I know there's plenty of threads regarding this subject and I'm sorry to burden you with one more, but as the dim-witted non-programmer I am I just can't seem to figure this one out on my own. I'm using the script below to dynamically load in my external images from a XML-file. I somehow need to apply "allow-smoothing" to the images, cause they will sometimes be scaled down and in those ...

How difficult is it to remove the black door strips completely instead of color coding them? Is it a pro job, and how much does it cost? I've done a photoshop for my car as I want it to eventually look, and it involves smooth doors

Hi everyone, Daddy and I had a wonderful Thanksgiving dinner at a local restaurant. He enjoyed it so much. The food was great and the staff were amazing. I took it all in as a priceless memory. If you have been following my saga regarding my sons and my recent meltdown, I have good news. My oldest (21) came home last night and sat with me for nearly an hour. He was so mature and talked ...

Hi, Has anyone removed the vinyl on the front door pillar thing. If they have how did you do it without leaving a mark? Is it same technique as debaging? Want to remove mine because it is half white faded a lot. I have removed my FIAT badge on boot, do you think it would look better if i removed the boot PUNTO badge and ACTIVE badges on both wings. Leave no badges at all? I only ...

Got 20 metres of 400x400x22mm terrazzo to fix onto a badly screeded floor that has a hot water underfloor heating system. Now, i have been faithful to BAL for years now but was wondering what some of you other fixers would use for adhesive/latex. The floor needs a smoothing compound laying and BAL have recommended BAL Ultrabase. For the adhesive they recommend BAL PTB Flexible. Bearing in mind...

WASHINGTON - They call it the "Botax." The White House and Senate Democrats have turned to a proposal to tax breast implants, tummy tucks, wrinkle-smoothing injections and other procedures as they search for ways to pay for costly health care overhaul plans. I was thinking back on my previous scientific work. During my thesis work, I had some temperature data (not atmospheric) that I used a smoothing algorithm on, essentially removing the "blips". Nobody in my scientific training told me this was wrong. Not my advisor, not my graduate committee, not my peers...nobody. Now it comes out, that scientists should only present raw data and that ...

Hi, My first post here although I've already learned a lot by reading some of the existing threads. Hopefully someone here can help me with this question. If I ingest AVCHD footage into one of the ProRes formats does the conversion process do colour smoothing/interpolation? To put the question in context, I am looking at doing some Chroma keying and am wondering whether I should be ...
