My son uses the GPS function of his phone for street navigation, and tells me it works quite well. The downside is that it costs $10/month from his cell provider, so that before too long you've exceeded the cost of stand-alone vehicular Garmin or Tom-Tom GPS unit. The same would apply to the purchase of a mapping GPS for trail use.

Oh, that reminds me of another annoyance with the 755p. It doesn't make any sound when a call is dropped, either on my end or when the other caller's phone drops. I've had a few times that I will be sitting there talking, only to find out that the call got dropped after the other caller calls back.
