I seem to have same problem as others with puter slowdown after upgrading to 2010. I did a gsi and found remnants of norton 360. However after downloading removal tool from symantec it would not finish removal it stopped at processing MSI's by product code. I tried to contact norton as this is their stuff not kaspersky but they want 80 bucks to remove lol. Any other suggestions?...

I am attempting to troubleshoot a Server 2008 system running IIS. Every hour, typically when the clock says xx:57, the system experiences a tremendous slowdown. When this slowdown occurs, VDS.exe appears to be the only process that is doing anything. Task manager shows VDS.exe using ~13% CPU (system has 8 CPU cores so 13% = 100% of one core). While this is happening, web pages take forever ...
