A few Carrera slot car race sets are rated but many of the lower priced ones aren't ($50 range). Does anyone have the lower prices set and are you happy with it? I can't shell out 69-75 bucks....thanks.

Here is my next installment in the used car business. I have posted 24 lots of a row of slot cars, bodies, chassis, etc. Are they great, no, are they cheap, yes. Here are my rules, NO PM's, NO orders on Hobbytalk or Howl, I must be emailed with the lot(s) you want. First come, first served. Look over the pictures in my profile album. I will post the price and shipping in about an hour. ...

I would think many of you like myself have a pretty hefty investment in your slot collection. I spoke with the agent who provides my home owners policy about the possibility of adding a "rider" that would provide coverage against loss or damage by fire, storms, theft, etc of my slot collection and he seems to have no clue. Any of you know or have coverage through some insurance company that may ...
I feel certain many of you like myself have a few bucks invested in our ever growning slot car and track collections. I talked with my home owners insurance agent and he seems to be basicly clueless about the type of coverage I want. He has even seen my collection. So, any of you know of a company that may offer special policies for hobby/slot car addicted collectors?? All suggestions ...

I won't claim to have much experience (several months, only), but I have raced digital and analog no mag using a Slot.it controller. I've done them both on my SSD track using the digital cartridge, and I've raced analog no mag on analog tracks with my analog cartridge. I've raced a variety of cars in each mode, and even the same cars in both modes. Maybe a long time slotter could "feel" the ...

It's funny, reading what I wrote before I seem to be contradicting myself, bagging on NASCAR for being backwards and F1 for being too sophisticated and specialized. I am getting old.

The Johnson products available here in Australia must be differet as the two available here are both crap. They absorb any moisture from your hands, become sticky with any handling. I use Testors decal bonder over all my decals before allying them then IF the car is painted in antsort of model paint I use another coat of testors. If (as most of mt cars are) painted with auto paint then I use auto...

Scott, I would strongly suggest email as Maurizio isn't online here as often as the rest of us - in fact he hasn't been on the board since November 16th. I never send PMs to him about anything urgent or important. You should find that info@slot.it works as there should be others on the Slot.it team who will be able to respond even if he's not currently around.
