I've always heard that by removing most of your clothes, you will stay warmer in a sleeping bag. Supposedly by taking off clothes your body heat will be more effective at warming the bag. I have tried to put this to the test while on hiking trips with weather down to 20 degrees, but have not had the necessary equipment to monitor.

It's been an overwhelming positive experience considering the circumstances. We are making the very best of a difficult situation. ...

We just returned home after doing our 4th and possible our most fun ever, ride down the Maah Daah Hey trail. Not sure if it was the scenery, weather, or more likely the wonderful folks we had with us this year. Whatever the case this trail in western ND is the longest continuous single track in North America and for the past 5 years weve gathered friends and acquiesces to do it with. The ...

Okay, on QtDevSr's suggestion, I thought I would share with you all my recent (epic, epic I tell you) backpacking trip to Sequoia NP. This is was my fourth trip in as many years, and soon you'll see why. It's a trip filled with alpine lakes, bears, coyotes, pika, marmots, and more granite than you can shake a stick at! I don't have as many photos as I would have liked, because, well, it's ...
