My Toshiba laptop's screensaver has decided to work all of a sudden, it does this on occasion! My question is, what is the difference if any between a screensaver and the laptop going into sleep mode, when left?? What is best? Sorry if this is a dim question am not that techie minded!

I want to change the settings on my Macbook Pro so to where if I'm on the internet or have Handbrake up or something. I want to be able to close my laptop screen without it going into sleep mode, but have the screen shut off or something, and then be able to just open it up later and continue working without interrupting my programs. How would I go about making these changes?...

Hi all , I have problem regarding sleep mode of my system. Whenever I get back from the sleep mode of the system, the sound of system does not work . Lately...last week or so...I've been getting a Black Screen of Death when I attempt to resume my Windows 7 Ultimate pc from sleep mode. Hi, I had windows 7 on my PC, I recently formatted it and reinstall the windows 7. But after this my PC started to having problem in the sleep mode . I put my laptop in hibernate overnight, and I am sure that it turns off completely. But when I wake up in the morning, my computer is in sleep mode and starts up immediately when I open the lid, without going through the normal "Resuming Windows" screen. I've got BTV 4.9.2 running pretty well in Win7 64-bit, but one thing that isn't quite there is Sleep mode. after returning from sleep mode there is no internet connection. I must restart to get connection. If I wake from sleep mode within 5-15 minutes there is still internet connection but 45 min no internet connection. clean Windows 7 install. Was using XP and worked fine.
