I just acquired a Slazenger Panther Pro Ceramic today off of craigslist for a mere $20 This thing is brand new, still has plastic wrap on the handle, came with original case, and not a scratch on the bumperguard. I found a Slazenger Vilas Pro racket that was my brother in laws. This racket was never ever used it sat in its cover for over 25 years. I'm looking to restore it. I'm pretty sure they're using Slazenger at Brisbane. I've also noticed that in the Australian tennis magazine there's an advertisement for Slazenger saying it's Australia's #1 tennis ball. Does this mean that Slaznenger will make a return to the Aus Open? It used to be Slazenger going back a few years but then they changed to Wilson. Caan anyone confirm or deny this??

UPDATE Yamaha Secret04. It is 4 5/8 grip and is strung. This is a classic frame. Great stiffness and stability. Booms serves and ground strokes. This frame is solid but has lots of paint chips. The paint flakes easily. I would rate 6/10 due to flakes. Hate to get rid of it but need to clear out the closet. Asking $70 shipped . Also consider trading. Becker 11 in 9/10 condition. ...

How about the original Slazenger Phantom with the double bridge? It was discontinued soon after its release, because it tended to snap at the throat. A beautiful rarity though. Does anyone else have one?
