Hi, I've just tried to get an upgrade to SKY HD but they told me I'd have to pre-register as there was no box available in my area. I've just got a text message to visit the Sky.com/track page where it states a wait 0f 2 Months, "2 MONTHS" !!!!!! What the hell is wrong with SKY, "2 MONTHS"! Is this usual?, can it really take that long?

Hi, I have searched but there is no direct solution to my problem on these forums... I would like to copy HD recordings from my Sky HD box. This shouldn't incur copyright/piracy issues as you can record direct to a dvd recorder, but this downscales the HD recordings. I don't have a computer attached to the televsion/sky box, I was looking at someway to grab the hd outputted by the sky box...

I think the answer is NO but here goes! I want to copy some recorded programmes from SkyHD to an external HD PVR device - not a computer and not a recordable DVD. Is there such a HD device as yet? I wish to backup my drive (before resetting it etc) and have additional storage. I dont wish to record in HD - simply from SCART. Advice would be most welcome. Cheers

My Sky+ box is near death so might as well change to HD. However I'm not too happy with the options Sky give on this... Just had it installed and I have the old EPG?? Thought this was fully rolled out now, even the manual has the new EPG in the diagrams... Can I easily get the new one downloaded, preferably before the champions league on ITV tomorrow night!!

Just upgraded to Sky+ HD, I'm positive I saw a demo on Sky's website showing that when you upgraded you would get a far superior Sky TV guide and Planner, allowing you to categorise programmes etc The TV Guide / Planner etc are exactly the same as my old box, apart from having HD Channels category obviously... Any thoughts ? Thanks :-)...
