As above, by someone who has gone to cable and no longer needs it. I already receive all the non-premium packages from Sky through the normal box. I have a quad lnb and cable to connect so is that all i need to do? There is no information on the Sky website.

Hi folks, I am looking to put a sencond box into a bed room as i have sky already installed downstairs. I have a quad lnb also for the dish. My questions is, whats the advantages/disadvantages of getting a FTA reciever as the 2nd box, or can i just get a cheap 2nd hand sky box from adverts and use it as my 2nd box. Thanks

Hi All. I recently sold a Sky+ box on eBay, and have just received a message from the buyer asking for a refund as the box makes a high pitched noise when in use and on standby. The box always made a slight noise, this was due to the HDD and Fans inside, and a quick google reveals that many Sky+ boxes make this noise. I'm trying to connect my sky box to my laptop hopfully to access all of the recorded programs and movies to move them to the laptop... (then to the external hard drive) There is a USB port on the back of the digi box... so if it can access the hard drive within the digi box... well that would be just super. Hi I got this TV, works great love it , but now I got newly fixed skybox+hd and whenever I pause or rewind the TV keeps flashing and freezing. When I use the same feature thru SCART it works perfect. I went to the shop and they gave me new TV , just pluged it in and the same problem. I am disgusted. What am I to do?

I have a Freesat box and dish. I have been "told" that if I get a Sky+ box and a "free" card, replace it with the Freesat box, I will get more channels than I do at present ? Is this correct ? Sorry if this has been answered before, I haven't seen it anywhere myself. We had a power surge in the house on Monday night. Has this channel always had adverts during boxing events ? I am a bit peeved at paying nearly £15 and having so many adverts, even during the actual fights, which really kills the action, even though it waits for the bell to ring it is still annoying to have it shoot to a 30 second commercial every couple of minutes. Then it has a longer advert break after. I am sure back...
