Ruger single six 22/22mag. For sale. As seen in pics it has the box. Asking 350.00 it is like new ( no rust on the hammer or trigger which is not uncommon to see. Must be 21 with proper id ftf.

I was just given a Ruger single six. On the frame is stamped 22cal. The cylinder has no marking what so ever. How can I tell if it is a 22lr or a 22 mag. I was not given a second cylinder so I can not compare the two. thanks I Stand Alone

An early '70s Single Six was my first handgun, followed by a 44 mag Blackhawk and then a .357 Security Six. The Single Six was a great gun. Very accurate, great trigger, and cheap to shoot for a young country boy. I killed a lot of cans and bottles with that gun. Grats on the new gun, and I hope you enjoy it for a long time. Tiller
