I just found this poll asking which song is the true anthem of NYC and its between Frank Sinatra's "New York, New York" or JAY-Z's "Empire State of Mind." What do you guys think?? I think I might have to go with Frank Sinatra on this one his song is just classic. Heres the link to vote: http://www.msg.com/sinatra/

This is a great buy for anyone who is a Frank Sinatra fan, it is the Frank Sinatra - Concepts Album which is a collection of remastered tracks from his Capitol years and contains most of his best tracks. It is not recordings of concerts but real studio tracks and was released as a 16 CD box set back in the 90's. The tracks sound fantastic and even if you own a copy on CD / LP of many of them if ...

Frank Sinatra's "New York, New York" or JAY-Z's "Empire State of Mind"?? and I wanted to see what other people thought about this.. I def dont think Jay-Zs song would exist if it weren't for Frankie's so im voting Frankie on this one http://www....

Personally, I think it's somewhat disturbing that Jay-Z's "Empire State of Mind" has been gaining so much popularity compared to Sinatra's rendition of "New York, New York". If the Yankees didn't win the World Series, Jay-Z's song would've been forgotten about already. Just look at the poll on www.msg.com/sinatra .
