Taking 20 mg of Simvastatin and getting side effect of a throbbing pain right in goin near femerol artery. When I stop for a day or two no more symptom. Anyone have experience with this Rx or side effects? Thanks

I have been taking simvastatin for several years now. I recently seen my physician regarding memory difficulties. He atributed my memory loss to stress. I did a google search "memory loss otherwise healthy" and came across a study linking simvastatin to memory loss. Have you heard of this? Has the research been proven? Should I quit taking it? -- *BABY DUST TO ALL* :)
