The wife and I are redoing the master bathroom. As part of that we are replacing the showerhead (and, I assume faucet and whatever else comes with that). On a trip to Lowes we saw something called the Delta In2ition and thought it seemed pretty cool. For all intents and purposes, a normal showerhead that could become handheld when needed. Great. Brought it home and then decided to ...

6gm? For a shower? omg put a showerhead on that thing. What a lame house. They need more than a pulsar. Prison firehose type shower?Do you live in the land of the giants or are you just making extreme estamates? Bet the same house has 10gal per flush toilets too.

I have acouple of brand new showerhead diffusers left over. They fit 18.8 ground joint and have a 14.5 bushing. I have one of these on my current setup, it really smooths out the smoke. Looking for $35 each. I have 11cm and 14 cm lengths. *These are intended to be used with tobacco water pipes.

We're "downsizing" our rig to one with a considerably smaller grey tank. We know all the tricks to save on water use, but one we've not tried is installing a low flow showerhead -- the norm is 2.5 gallons per minute, and we'd like to reduce that to, ideally, 1.5 gpm. Of course, we want to do all this without sacrificing water pressure! Many swear by the Oxygenics showerhead, which offers...

We re-tiled a bathroom in a house we'd bought, and need to buy a showerhead. Unfortunately the shower outlet is only at 5'6" tall, designed for a hand shower with bar. Unfortunately DH (6' tall) and I both dislike showerheads that have to be detached and held, (because if attached, their spray is near horizontal). This shower will mostly be used for us and friends before / after going in ...

Hi I have a manual mixer shower over my bath, it is an Aqualisa Aquavalve. It is very reliable, doesn't use a pump and has lasted for 15 years or so. The past 6 onths or so the shower drips (from the showerhead) when the shower dial is turned fully off. This has got worse over the months. After searching I believe the cartridge seals have worn and need replacing....

When I woke up this morning, I turned on the bathtub faucet, but once I switched it over to the hot side, water stopped coming out (as if I was putting it into the off position). I just recently changed my showerhead with one of those that has a 6ft cord on it...not sure if that is related.

I have had niches built in two showers to hold shampoo bottles, etc. I wanted them to the right of where I face while showering, & about shoulder high so I can reach them easily with my eyes closed. I also have niches for soap; they are the same height as the bottle niches, but on the same wall as the showerhead so the soap doesn't get wet.

Hmmm, let me see if I can try to describe the shower better. It's a three-wall alcove shower and the fourth wall will be all glass with a door. (The shower is a 3' x 4' rectangle with the glass wall being 4' in length.) We were planning to install the showerhead on one of the 3' walls and the body sprays on the opposite 3' wall. I hope that makes sense. Debbiejoy - what is the brand of ...

you pay $50,and you get up to 15 energy saving bulbs,a showerhead(if your current one is using more than 9 litres a min) and a portable energy monitor. Its connected to your fusebox, but you can remove it (doesnt have to stay at the same house!!) and a thermometrer to check your fridge, freezer, hot water system.

J M: Your tanks are about 20 gallons, so if it takes 14 gallons to fill, you are running out of fuel at about 1/4 tank. This is consistent with broken fuel pickups in the tanks. (My info relevant for 1988) The pickup looks like a showerhead (or inverted funnel) with a 1/16" mesh screen in the large end. I think its made of rubber but mine was so hardened it had cracked and literally ...

I have the same set up you are describing. I bought a TOTO pressure balanced valve with a diverter. Then a rain showerhead and a hand held unit. This will allow you to switch between the two units but not run both at the same time. If you want to use both you will need a valve for temp and a separate diverter valve to channel the water to one or both of the units. If you also need to fill a tub ...
