So i just started having this problem after i got into playing more metal, which is obviously faster playing then most rock songs... but i noticed my strumming shoulder really starts to hurt after just a litter bit... the same kind of feeling you get when you work out your shoulder, but it really is affecting how long i can play without stopping..... is this a technique problem or what... has ...

It seems like every time I start to train heavy, do any reps under 5 and go up in weight my right should starts to strain when I am lifting. It doesn't happen right away, but usually 2 months into lifting heavy it just happens, there is no defining pain moment. One day I get in the gym and it hurts just to warm up.
