A safe direction means that the gun is pointed so that even if it were to go off it would not cause injury or damage. The key to this rule is to control where the muzzle or front end of the barrel is pointed at all times. Common sense dictates the safest direction, depending on different...

Made for those of us who are right handed. I have approximately a 41" chest and it fits me perfectly. It could be loosened a little and tightened a lot. Dual mag pouches with adjustable retention screw. This shoulder holster is used but barely and has many years of life left. These go for $335 new and there is a long waiting list. Workmanship and quality of this holster are nothing short of...
Used Uncle Mike's #5 Sidekick shoulder holster in very good condition-- there is a little brassing on the snaps. According to the maker, it fits 4 1/2" - 5" barrel large autos, open end, safety strap rotates to secure auto either on grip or hammer. Carries the firearm on the left side for RH draw. $20 includes shipping to US addresses and PayPal fees. Email dwambaugh at yahoo dot com.

Can anyone recommend a decent shoulder holster for me? I prefer a nylon one just becasue leather looks and feels tacky to me, but if there is a good leather one I may go that direction. It would probably be used for my .45 XD. Thansk guys!

I've been wanting to try a shoulder rig and it's getting close to the time here in FL that I can. I'm going to give the Galco Miami Classic II a try. I really like the idea of the horizontal mag carrier. Just placed my order: $118.36 / Free Shipping http://www.shopholsters.com/galco-mi...i-holster.h tml

I have a Miami classic for a P226, and have borrowed my father's Jackass rig (Kimber Pro Covert) for a couple weeks. I was surprised that the 1911 commander seems to be easier to conceal, as it's about the same size as the 226. I'm very, very fond of my shoulder holster, and plan to switch to it as my primary means of carry -- however, if I didn't have an injured lower back, I may not be as ...

9 minutes... wow... That is a nice looking shoulder holster, good pickup Carrots. I'm glad you snatched it up I might've been tempted and I hate shoulder rigs, but sometime even and old rednecks needs to look like a big city Detective....
