i have up for sale is a a full short block out of a 2001 audi s4 with seven thousand miles on it perfect condtion. aslo have k03 with no shaft play and 7,000 miles also. and i have a s4 crank and four s4 rods. shoot me a price and we can work something out. complete intake manifold with fuel rails injectors and coils 7k miles on it as well Guest-only advertisement....

I am a complete noob to any engine so this may be a stretch...or a completely insane Idea...so don't shoot me....just learning. I am wanting to know if I can buy a short block with a 78mm stroke and use my stock pistons, heads etc? Reason being is that I have budgetary restrains and can do the rest without pulling the motor next winter. Need to do something because is is leaking...

Is there really a need to go to an aftermarket short block, or could we go with a built rotating assembly like the one from mod max? My mechanic told me he could do a rotating assembly in my car for much less than the cost of a short block, and swapping parts.... anyone have any input?

how long did your stock short block hold up to boost? how much boost? what rpm did you shift at? and most important what kinda track times did you get out of it?i jus want to see what i can expect. thanks

This was pulled from a 2000 GT because it spun a rod bearing... Short block with oil pan and water pump. Crank is junk but the block is usable for someone looking to do a build. $100 picked up... Will not ship. PM me, email cwahl856@marian.edu , or call/txt 317-270-4444 Thanks...
