After a lay off running for a year due to calf strains and other injuries I'm back into my running by 9 weeks. All is going well but i've gradually been noticing pains and swelling in both my calves and this week my left achilles is now sore. hi we are looking to book a short 5 day break between xmas and new year, have been to benidorm and albir in the past can anyone reccomend any hotel we could try. we will have 4 adults 2 in there 20s and 2 in 40s. we have looked at A/I and would like somewhere nice with some entertainment if poss. any suggestions would be great thanks.

I'm planning to go to Rome, Milan around the 18th of December till the 22nd .. or maybe after Christmas, are there any hotels that u recommend or any sight seeing that is a must? and what is the night life like? anything that shouldn't be missed?

the moment after have a break of landscape photography (due to weather), yesterday had a long hours photography outing (730am - 10pm), and this was last picture I capture for the tiring day ... and the sky just amazing and don't expect to see this as ~1hour before this. I have just booked a 2 night stay in london for april 10 (travelodge saver! ) and wanted to try and find some bargains such as 2 for 1 on attractions, cheap train fare, money off vouchers etc etc can any one point me in the right direction? thank you in advance kel

Hi there, i've been doing some looking around and want to treat my partner to a trip to France for our 2 years of being together. It would be a long weekend 18th Dec - 21st Dec 2009. I've looked on soooo many ferry comparison sites and cheapest i've found for a return is £55 (2 adults, 1 car). Could this be beaten? Bearing in mind i'll probably have to travel to our destination by car. ...

I don't know Milan well enough to comment unfortunately but I know Rome well, so my comments are limited to Rome. If you want a really nice hotel that's not too expensive look at this one : http://www.explore-italian-culture.com/c… which is brilliant, but be warned - it books up well in advance. I have just tried to book for 16 December and it's full. You could still try anyway...
