So I have a Bimmerworld budget shikt kit with shift lever, carrier cup, delrin carrier bushings, and carrier clip pin in route to rehab the 89 325i I bought recently. Is there anything else I should get to go ahead and replace while I'm installing this? Thanks!

Hi, i am building up a racer and am thinking of using an 80 series autobox. Only am wondering if can get shift kits and manual valve bodies for them to basically make it into a sequential box for quicker shifts etc, Cheers.

Okay, here's the deal. IPT has the ability to upgrade our stock converter and valve bodies for better performance. They are willing to give a 10% discount for 10 people and a 15% discount for 15 or more. You would have to send in your stock units and it would take 24-48 hours to modify. The obvious drawback is that you will be without your truck for a while. You can get both mods done or just ...

I have a 1989 gt with the transgo hp, hi rev kit, a bm 2500 hole shot converter and the hammer shifter. The transgo kit is awesome, it made the aod worth having. My car also has 4.10s which helps alot with the aod. The epoxy mod changes the shift pattern from 1-2/3-4 to 1-2-3/4 meaning you can hold second manually in the drive position on the shifter, when in stock configuration you could ...
