I have the oem cd player that came with my 951. It has the Hi-FI sound system option, comes with the blaukpunt cd player. The problem is I don't have the manual and it's asking me for the code. I tried checking with the POrsche dealer but the can't look it up in their computers. What can I do, is there any way to contact blaupunkt or get the code through my Vin#??? I have a 2001 Cab and want the B&M UNDERMOUNT short shift kit that has recently been a topic here. The kit for the 2002-2004 is part #45183. B&M says there is an alternate kit that is also the undermount for the 2001 part #45189. Anybody have any ideas or that has installed a 2002-2004 kit in a 2001? I wat the fore / aft shorter but am happy with the side travel... Mark

I did not investigate before I Invested. I had the Kit that you glue the Lengthened Below the Pin section on my 1976 911 and was fairly happy with it. I thought the Weltmeister would be better because of the Plate and "Thought" the lever "Above" the Pin would be the same as Stock length. My tranny needs rebuilt. I have not been able to figure what the problem is, but I think that I have driven it enough since it started screwing up about a month and a half ago, that too much damage has been done save it. When I get the rebuild done, I want to put in a shift kit, nothing crazy, just firmer shifts and stuff. I have read on here about the Transgo kits, but I don't know what to get....

Used in my car for a few months, has been great, but a little too noisy (NVH) for my own liking. Throws are about 40% shorter I believe, and is a great performance upgrade. I know a bunch of people on here are running the JHM SSK but I wanted to get some more feedback before I pulled the trigger. My main concern is that I might cause damage to my synchros because I know some SSK's will tend to do this (at least on my last car it did). This kit is complete and like new. Was installed a few thousand miles ago on a 2001 cabrio. Vehicle just went through a VR conversion so this kit is not needed anymore. I see the list price on the kit is 150. Will sell for $105 shipped. or trade for vrt goodies or 02j short shifter Still looks good as new. Pics up tomorrow

Weltmeister and maybe some others make a shifter spring kit for 1965-1972 911's that are advertised as high compression springs that "guide the shift lever in the 2nd,3rd,4th,5th shift pattern, preventing accidentally hitting first or reverse". Drilling is required. $50 for the kit. Has anyone installed these springs? Do they help? Especially on a rapid shift from 1st to 2nd or from 4th to 3rd?...

Hi, Since upgrading to Admin Kit 8 I am now unable to select multiple workstations using CTRL and/or SHIFT - for example select 5 workstations to Install an Application Is there a setting somewhere or is this by design? Please Help!

Selling a UUC Motorwerks RK5 shift knob and ebrake handle kit. It's the standard 5 spd pattern. The knob weighs 1lb 8oz an the ebrake handle weighs 1lb. They're brand new, never installed. $210 shipped OBO. Cheers.

I am looking for a shift kit for my 2000 ranger with the 4.0L. Where can I order one? I think trango is the only making one for it. Does anybody have the part# and place to order it from? Also has any body done this on a 2000 year model How hard was it and was it worth it? Thanks

Try www.online-unlock.com for the radio code. When I bought my MB E420 the radio was locked. I used this site for getting the radio code for the Becker radio with great success. Only $3 fee. Hope it helps.
