No matter how hard I pull on the lever, it won't change into reverse, or neutral, or anything. The lever won't fucking move. What causes this and how do I fix it?

ok i have a 1997 tib with a 1.8 and auto now i bought it for $450 with a burned up trans so this may be why it went out in the first place?now my friend sonny ownes a trans shop so he rebuilt my trans and got me a dayco reman converter for $600.00 and i know hes good for he has rebuilt many domestic transmissions for me before although is dosnt know much about foreign cars so he rebuilt ...

I believe I have some sort of transmission issue. The truck will not shift out of second gear at WOT. It will go completely to the rev limiter and not shift. The truck drives fine around town at partial throttle, but only seems to give me problems at WOT. The truck is completely stock. Anybody have any ideas?

I searched but didn't find anything. My wife's Forrester has a problem shifting the auto tranny out of park. We have to override it by pushing the button next to the shifter. I think the faulty part is located in the steering column, because I can hear it clicking while attempting to move the shifter. The problem is intermittent, but getting progressively worse. Over the last week or two, I have noticed a significant change in the way the transmission works in everyday drives. The car holds in 3rd and 5th significantly longer than it used to. Like I can be going at a relaxed pace and it will hold in the 2500 rpm range 10 secs to a minute or more before it will drop into fourth. Same with 5-6th. Hi guys, so last night was cold. It got into the negatives. I started the 87 and let it get warmed up. It took forever to get the 20w50 buildin some pressure. If the trans goes into safe mode, then there is probably an electronic reason for it. Chances are the codes will tell you what is wrong. I'd probably drive it long enough to get codes, write them down this time.

I'm not sure if you're referring to disabling the admin mode for the user, or shutting them out altogether for certain periods of time, or shutting them out permanently all the time.
