The rear driver side shackle welds broke and the spring when thru my bed floor. The truck is a 2006 with about 47,000. Is this a problem and is there any re-calls. Jeff

I have a 92 wrangler with a 4 inch rough country lift. It also has the 1 1/4 shackle lift. My problem is that the shackles keep hitting obsticles. My goal is to run 35's so that it will give me a little more clearance and im pretty sure i can do this by cutting the fenders. Would it be a better idea to build an SOA lift, put a bigger lift, or put a shackle reverse kit on it?

I currently have a 4 inch S-10 bastard pack with stock shackle and stock box. I was planning on modding the shackle box to get a hair more lift and improve the stock shackle angle. Now, I also plan on getting the Big Offroad 4 inch packs later on. I understand these are longer than stock. Just wondering if this shackle angle is ok. I have read so much on it the last few days that I don't know what to think anymore. These are attached to 6" lift springs. I think it is pretty close and should kick back a little when there is weight on them. Still need to shim the axle, but I am waiting to get the engine, trans and t-case back inbetween the frame rails.

I decided to get rid of the rear blocks. I made some shackle flip brackets like sky's and some zero rates. I used 4" x 1/4" wall square tube and 1/4" plate for the shackle flips. I used 3" x 1" steel for the zeros. Here are the pics.
