Hi everyone- When the weather gets really cold (below zero)my sewer vent pipes like to freeze up and it gets smelly in the house. Can anyone suggest a fix to this problem. I would like to do something now before it gets real cold. Thanks.

I live in a studio apartment in Atlanta. I just got my utility bill and my water is $31 but my sewer is $76!!! How can sewer be twice as much and how can it be so high when it's just me?? Does this seem fishy to anyone else?

Hi Guys, I'm looking at purchasing a property that potentially I can add value to by adding a new dwelling at the back but I've noticed on the Section 32 that in the Yarra Valley assessement there seems to be Sewer Pipe running right across the property at the back. Please see attachment to see what I'm talking about, its Lot 210 and you'll see the Sewer Pipe run across the property....

I am having a problem with sewer gas odors getting into the space below a flat roof. We've been unsuccessful in determining how these odors are getting in. We've checked and nothing is leaking on the inside so the odors are definitely coming from outside. Any ideas out there?

This is a commercial application with a dual lift pit station with lift rails (Flygt pumps). 3068 by 3.8 amps units, 2.4KW I believe (I dont have info handy, but smallest pump they make in that grinder/affluent application) One of the two pumps gets blown off its seat consistently, I am going in the direction of a back check not closing correctly and letting a reverse hammer take place ...
