I have an HD set top box and i've had it for about 3 months now. When i first got it, in the schedule it only showed up the next couple of shows. For a while it wasn't showing up any channel number like it usually does nor did it show the time when it was turned off. So i decided to reset the Set top box and then everything showed up including all the programs for the next 7 days....

I was wondering if other users have noticed problems with this in the last week. I know that many of you have complained in the past but although slow to load, I found it fairly quick to navigate. Recently, I have found it much slower to navigate and more unstable? to the extent that it can stall when the arrow keys are pressed and can then take off with a mind of its own or exit the e.p.g. ...

I have FIOS with the HD QIP6200-2 set top box. This may sound really basic but I want to understand how to turn it on and off. There seem to be two different ways of doing it. One way is with either the remote control or the on/off button on the front of the box. Doing either of these, when the unit is "off" it shows the time and when it's "on" it shows the channel for a moment, then the ...

I'm writing this on behalf of a friend. She's in Cheshire and has a Sony Freeview box - I don't know the exact model but it looks like a VTX-D800 - I think it's quite old. After the latest round of retuning she has a bizarre problem. When looking at the EPG, BBC2 is listed fine and it can be selected but after a ...

Since you clipped the rest of the thread, it's hard to know exactly what you are asking about, not sure what those comments mean. However, if you just need to know how to hook up Media Center with a set top box, the basics are: - Plug the MC IR receiver into a free USB port on your computer - Plug an IR emitters/blasters into the back of the IR receiver - Stick the other end onto your set ...

kokoobird, Under that configuration, can his family watch other channels (not that there is anything worth watching) while he is watching soccer? That's probably one of the more common reason for getting extra set top... so that people can watch different channels simultaneously.
