1998 S70 T5 I'm hearing my, I assume, serpentine belt squealing a bit on startup and my, I assume, power steering pump, is making noises during rapid turning. Do the power steering pumps go bad such that they become too difficult to turn and lose the grip on the serpentine belt? It looks like the PS pumps run around $150 rebuilt, that seem right? What's it take to install ...

I have an ongoing issue with my Truck, serpentine belt is slipping. I replaced the belt and the tensioner and it worked ok for a little while. Then the vent system inside the car was only blowing air to the windshield no matter what you set it to. I discovered a broken vacuum hose, I replaced it and hooked it back in and the my problem with the belt was back! especially if I turn on the ...

Hey all, I am doing my first attempt at adjusting the valves on my Bus. I have a 1776 motor with a serpentine belt. After messing with it, I can't figure out how to move the pully around to TDC, etc. This is probably extremely easy and I probably sound retarded. Any help/suggestions will be most kindly appreciated. Thanks!

Just detail the new/used stuff before you put it in. Use a good aluminum cleaner on the brackets and repaint the pulleys. It'll look all purty when you're done. Does you car have A/C? Reason I ask is that unless the PA Performance solution has a pulley to replace the v-belt compressor pulley, you're stuck unless you change it out for the newer compressor found on model years starting ...
