We have all of the Junie B Jones, Judy Moody, some Katy Kazoo, Diary of a wimpy kid and my weird school. She has no interest in Magic Treehouse. So any other ideas?

A huge second vote for "A-Z Mysteries" by Ron Roy . Fantastic series, and once you get them reading it, they have 26 books to get through before they need something new. I got the entire box set from Scholastic 3 years ago when ds #1 was in second grade, and am excited that my second grader now is reading them. Ds #1 was so bummed they didn't have the "Z" book in our library/AR system. ...

I looked at the copyright of the current Eloise book I have and it is 2005. I guess if we stick to the newer stuff then it is safer. Jenna, I haven't heard there was going to be a movie. I guess I will go off ratings and reviews.
