I seriously don't know what is wrong with me. Today was the dinner party at work. All I could think about was going home to DS. I almost started to cry because I missed him so much. I was only away from him for about 3 hours. Isn't he supposed to be the one with seperation issues not me? Is this normal? Does anyone else feel this way?

My little guy is 4 weeks old and my in-laws are wanting to watch him for a few hours to allow my husband and I some time for dinner or shopping. My DD is 8 months old and has no teeth. Neither of my DS's got teeth until they were over a year old. About 2 weeks ago she had croup - turned into an ear infection. This can be solved in a couple of weekends. First, walk your dog more often, and for longer walks. Before you know you are going somewhere, take your dog out for a good hour. This way your dog is going to be more tired and less likely to even know you are gone. Next dont make a big deal about leaving. When you are doing things around the apartment, leave for a second. At drop off she cries. I call the carers on my lunch break at work and she's usually fine. I get told she's grizzly or clingy (she has a cold and is teething so thats kinda expected) When i pick her up i watch her before i let her see me and she's fine no tears at all, soon as she see's me...waterworks with the fast bolt towards me with the ultimate cling lol. Chocolate labs can be behaviourally challenged. I would suggest seeking the opionion of a certified veterinary behaviourist, or even some local behaviour experts at the shelters.
