Nigeria condemns Kosovo secession It should be noted that Nigeria is on the USCIRF list of "Countries of Particular Concern" (CPC), the US government's designation for countries with ongoing, egregious violations of religious freedom. http://news.xinhuanet.com/english/2009-11/22/conte nt_12519975.htm

Secession from Obamas America Most of the states that might reasonably consider secession as an option are the ones that ARE NOT like California, New York, Massachusetts, Rhode Island, or New Jersey, etc. where politicians have intentionally created large dependent populations of people and groups with their hands out for other peoples money (dependent voting blocks tied to money ...

What can we do if we want to measure the real reaction of the Sudanese people in general towards the First Vice President statement a few days ago in which he revealed the real secession intentions of the SPLM. FVP did not only urge the southerners to vote for secession but he also decidedly affirmed that by separation they will be free from being slaves whilst in unity they will remain ...

I am curious if secession is still considered crazy here. I wonder if this gov't keeps forcing it's will-not the people's will on us, if it will seem as crazy to some folks. If voting doesn't work, wouldn't secession be a more peaceful alternative than others?

Is it a Field of Dreams or a Plea for Return to a Constitutional Republic? Secession from Obamaâs America By Zach Jones Thursday, November 19, 2009 Last night I stumbled upon an article, A Case For Secession-Introduction, (first of a series) on Gather.com and it struck me that the time may soon be approaching when one or two states will be called to step up for the ...

Fortunately we still enjoy freedom of speech in this country and political...

When a government becomes destructive of life, liberty, or pursuit of happiness, it is the inalienable right of the people to abolish it and institute new government. The proposed Healthcare Bill would allow for the government to control your medical care. The government could choose weather or not, when, where, how, and your options, which means they would have power over life, liberty, ...

We got the state sovereignty movement going with all of those states that declared it in the last year or two. If the health care mandates pass, is it time to show teeth behind the declarations? Is it time to call our state congresspeople and ask them to put forth a resolution to secede from the union for real? I don't think the federal government got the message yet.

ossetia (and the other region abkhazia) broke away from georgia in the early 90th soon after the collapse of the soviet union. the reason for their secession was persecution of ethnical minorities in georgia. the problem actually existed even when georgia was a part of the soviet union though on a much smaller scale because nationalism was strongly condemned by the mainstream soviet ideology. the...

Okay, you people. How many knew, Maryland (St. Mary's) was put under marshal law during the civil war to control the secession vote. A senator and the congress men were imprisoned to avoid their voting with the south. When I learned this I felt it explained a lot about the views of St. Mary Countians. To me it explained the reason there was a resentment to PAX I sensed growing up.
