I wonder if anyone can help. My current Brompton seems to be more prone to the seatpost slipping than previous ones. This was only really an issue when I was pushing it, which manifested itself as the saddle turning clockwise slightly every time it went over a bump. More recently, it will turn at the slightest chance, and now it is starting to slip down the tube when riding (so that I have ...

Looking for a Ti seatpost in a 31.6 Dia.x 350mm length, with set-back, brushed finish and an adjustment bolt on the bottom. I know, I know I'm being very picky, but I have a Litespeed Siena and would like to get my Regal saddle on this bike. I am currently using a Thomson straight post and an SLR saddle, but the saddle is set back as far as it will go on the rails and the Regal has even ...

I was thinking about getting a new saddle for my commuter bike which has an old seatpost with a narrow top where there is a saddle clamp clamping down on the seatpost and securing the saddle rails at the same time. Like this one below: However, when I was looking at the width of the rail clamps, it looks a little narrower than the width of my newer bike's saddle rails. I think I ...

I'm in the middle of making sure I've got all the parts I want for my Flash when it arrives and I was wondering what the seatpost clamp size is, and FD clamp size. I'm assuming 34.9 for both since the seatpost is 31.6 (alloy version). Also, for those who have access to the frame, do you think a SRAM Force FD would work? Thanks!

I need a replacement seatpost sharpish and I'm not with my bike at the moment - can anyone tell me what seatpost diameter my GT is, saving me a trip home?! Cheers!

Will be swapping out my seatpost at the LBS soon and in researching seatposts I came across Thomson - which have a good rep, though I notice it's aluminum. Will a carbon post offer much more comfort over a good aluminum post? I want a post that holds the saddle securely in place. Thanks.

So I'm starting to ride a little more aggressively downhill, but I'm still not getting far enough back on my bike and occasionally endo. I think my problem is the trails here are a lot of up and down; If I drop my seat for a descent, the intermittent climbs are a b*tch. But if I don't drop my seat, it's hard to get back and low enough for the steep downhill parts. So two questions: How much/...

Hi All, I'd like to find out where I can purchase a racing number that attaches to either the seatpost or somewhere on the rear of the bike frame. Something like the racing numbers the pro's use to attach their numbers on the back of the bike. Thanks.

Iv just picked up my new set up. I had an '06 Marin Rocky Ridge from which the components were transfered onto the Maverick frame. I havent had a chance to take it out yet but im excited! The bike shop only had one seatpost that would fit and its a very basic one so i was wondering if any of the carbon posts from here would fit? http://www.carboncycles.cc/ Also they have fitted a Shimano ...

I am looking at buying a sweet 2009 Spark Ltd with integrated seatpost but the cut is at a maximum of 69 cm (BB to center seat rail)---I ride at a little over 71 cm. Any way of extending the seatpost or changing the maximum height on an integrated seat post once it's cut. Please help as I really want to buy this bike. Thanks

I've seen the OMM, I've seen the nice rack. I like the OMM design and the way it mounts (on the brake bosses). It is 11.25ish inches long. I also like the way the OMM rack keeps everything back and away from the seatpost. I want to carry my down bag in a stuff sack that is 20 inches long. I know I could do it with the OMM sherpa, but are there any other options available?

Howdy all, I'm about to get serious about buying a used 2002-2003 -ish A4 Sedan. My old 97 Jetta had a big enough trunk so I could take both wheels and seatpost off my bike and stick it in the trunk stealth style, with plenty of room for a duffel bag full of clothes, helmet, lights, etc. for after work rides. If it won't fit, I might just get an Avant wagon for the extra space, since it ...

If you are going to get a new clamp then it may be worth considering adding the rear frame clip which enables you to lock the rear so that it doesn't fold. I have found this really useful especially when I have luggage. http://www.sjscycles.co.uk/product-Brompton-Brompt on-Rear-Fr... Regards SB

Yeah, those are all i900 links. The i900 is a good product, but the lighter weight and zero offset are both big benefits, which is why I've been waiting for the i950-R.
