PLEASE HELP! I've been searching high and low trying to get rid of the seatbelt chime!!! The dealership where I purchased the truck won't do it for me, I can't find it in the owners manual, and it's nowhere to be found on the web! (atleast everything that I tried I couldn't get to work) Does anyone know how to disable to dang thing?!

Hey, I've got a stuck seatbelt on my '97 Caravan. I've looked around on the forum and saw some folks had problems with the buckle; mine is with the retractor. My drivers side seatbelt does not work. Kind of just grinds gears until I go to my happy place... Well Im moving to a state that has a safety inspection so it will need to soon be a properly functioning seat belt system. But since I dont like automatic seat belts, I am wondering how difficult it would be to convert it to a manual belt. And in addition how hard the parts are to get. Thanks...

The driver seatbelt on our Fabia doesnt wind back in automatically. The Skoda garage have quoted almost ?200 to replace it as the whole unit needs replacement - we have found a mechanic who will fit it for around ?30 if we can get a belt - anyone know where we could get one from please. Its a 1.9 tdi 2003 reg.

I've always said: You must wear the seatbelt but now I have learnt that you may also say USE the seatbelt... for instance: The basic idea was that using the seat belt takes time, to which the driver attaches a value. (Longman Dictionary of Contemporary English) Is there any difference between the two options? Is one more commonly used than the other?

Yep! Fasten your Seatbelt! I would check in too, rearely post, it was pretty quiet, waiting for contracts. Our wait has hit paydirt and I am not selling. Can't wait for next news! I have a 2000 Z3 and my seatbelts are constantly locking up while driving. It drives me nuts because it pins you against the seat and the only things you can do is to take the seatbelt off or rack your shoulder into the seat fast enough to reset the ratchet mechanism. I seem to have a wet passenger seatbelt but nothing else is wet (such as the floor, carpet and the seat etc) the weather has been pretty bad but water should not be coming into the car. Ive got a 2002 one , got in the car this morning and found that my front passenger seat belt was soaking wet for the entire length of the belt . anyone else come across this problem ? ive got a panaramic sun roof which i think its coming from. how much is a new seal around the roof ?
