Hello, I ordered a seamless background paper from B&H. It was delivered to my office but unfortunately since I was on vacation that day I couldn't pick it up right away and now it has gone missing. People at work would like to help me look for it but unfortunately I don't have a description of the package. Does it come in a tubular cardboard? Can someone please provide me the description ...

I was thinking about the sampler, and the main reason we seem to get for not having one is that they don't want to break the "1-to-1 seamless integration" of the hardware and the software. My position is that Itch (aside from its name) is an awesome program, and I love DJing with it. BUT I think Serato needs to stop using "1-to-1 seamless integration" as a reason for not including features. ...

I am using a orthogonal projection matrix to set up drawing 2d quads in screen space. Now I want these quads to "tilt" away in a 3-dimensional fashion, and I am struggling with getting a smooth and spotless transition from 2D to 3D. Initially I tried to set up a 3D projection-matrix with a suitable camera position and switch between that and the 2D ...

So I've just ordered a new 640GB 5400rpm drive to throw in the extra bay in my laptop. My current drive is 320GB 7200rpm. Basically, I want to allot about 100GB for the OS and programs, and the rest for storage of videos, music, and photos. A friend of mine said that I could set up the two drives in RAID and have an 800GB partition that spans the two. Is this possible?...

Does anyone watch behind-the-scenes videos to learn how the pros record? If so, what are some good clips? Here's an interesting one I found... Michael Jackson in the studio What's interesting is he seems to be double/triple/quadruple-tracking the vocals, but it's so seamless I never noticed it. Also interesting is the way the engineer has him sing the part from different ...

The footage you're about to watch is actually part of the game's preview, demonstrated at this year's E3 event. Finally, though, we get to see some of it for ourselves. Better yet, it showcases what I consider perhaps the most interesting feature; "SMART". It's the feature that enables seamless movement throughout the landscape, ala Mirror's Edge - as I mentioned in a previous post....

In the wake of Apple and HP's joint screwup of the previously seamless operation of scanning and OCR in Mac OS 10.6.2, is there a way of getting directly from a scanned document to the OCR process? As things stand (and as I discovered after two days of fruitless struggle) you have to scan the doc first, and then go to ReadIRIS to do OCR. I would also like to record for posterity my ...
