Also how much does professional sealing around shower tray and door would cost?? For those of you who have recently ordered greeting cards, photo cards, etc...I have a potential customer who wants a large christmas card order, but does not want to lick all the envelopes. She was wondering if the envelopes are the self-sealing kind (I'm assuming by this she means if there's peel-away adhesive or something) or if she would have to lick them all. Thanks ...

I have a little question about sealing my MDF workbench top. I recently watched a episode of The Woodsmith Shop about building a "weekend workbench". It looked pretty good and strong and I've been meaning to get a good workbench for a while so I downloaded the plans and built it, (front vise, dog holes and all). It turned out great (big and heavy). Well, at the end of the program Don, the ...

Do modern clay quarry tiles need to be sealed. If so with what (They are to be out doors but undercover - occasional minor wetting) If they do is it best to seal before grouting. If they don't need sealing or you can't seal them outdoors how do you prevent the grout from staining the tiles. They have slightly rough textured face so I can imagine cleaning off grout afterwards will be a ...

i Recently bought some artwork on my travels abroad and i want to have them stretched onto wooden frames to put up in my house but the artwork isn't done with proper paints but a mix of wall paints and watercolours. Can anyone tell me what i can use over the top to seal the paints so they don't flake or get damaged????

We adopted a 10 year old girl this past August. It was pretty incredible. She was in another state than us and her foster family was recieving the missionary discussions! The missionaries sang at her candle light ceremony before we brought her home. Anyway, she LOVES church and can't wait to get baptised. We are waiting until finalization so that she can use her new name. Will she be able ...

I have just cleaner waxed it with meguires back when it was warmer every couple washes. im noticing swirls already in the paint which kinda sucks. Im wondering if it is a good idea or a waste of money to get a detailing friend to go over the car with what he called "not real wax and buffing but what it will ...

My husband thinks we need to seal our basement floor before laying down carpet tiles (either FLOR commercial closeouts or Milliken Legato tiles). I've looked into RedGard and RadonSeal, but I'm stumped with what to do next. I want to do it right, but I also don't have a ton of money to spend on this space, which primarily will be a playroom for our four young children. The house is 40 years ...

To get a good front soundstage, most of us are stuck with putting relatively small 6-1/2" (or smaller) drivers in the front doors. Speakers in Kick Panels just don't cut it in my experience. I'm going for 6.5" Component sets (with crossovers and separate tweeters) for the build I'm working on: My 1990 Nissan Maxima SE. To get decent Bass out of door speakers, for sure the speaker enclosure ...

I fairly recently purchased a Magura Laurin 100 xc. Barely used by all appearances. During the past few rides I have noticed considerable amounts of "leakage" on the stanchions, in particular the left side. Should this abate after "break-in"? If it is sealing badly, how much oil is there in the fork and when will it start to wear the stanchions or other critical parts out? Where, if...

Well one of my winter projects is to remove and rebed the genoa tracks that are leaking. What is the best method for re bedding / sealing them. The boat is a 1985 Newport 33 and they are in a recess in the deck, there are drains/ opening at the ends of the recesses to let water out. Is this a common problem? Peter Justified
