I just saw Marlena's review on the Model In A Bottle setting spray and although I dont really have a need for that I went to the site and saw they have this "Duo Lip Conditioner & Lipstick Sealer" It sounds pretty cool since I DO have a problem with lipstick fading really fast. Has anyone tried this? Does it work, and for how long? Any other products you would recommend to help keep lipstick ...

Looking to buy my first vacuum sealer. We don't do a lot of cooking and will probably just use it on deer and fish a few times a year - so probably don't need one with all the bells and whistles. Suggestions on what kind and where to purchase? Thanks!
Hi, Combi boiler central heating system. I have a number of small leaks on the pipework to various radiators around the house. The system is only three years old, and 10mm copper tube has been used. I was thinking of using fernox leak sealer to cure this problem and save myself a lot if work. Has anybody used it with any success and does it last any length of time? Help ...

I recently purchased my first home and I am committed to doing things right. Any help would be greatly appreciated. My guest bathroom has a slate shower that needs a little work. It looks like the previous owner put some type of think, glossy topical sealer on the bottom. Strangely, it only extended a couple of inches up the sides. The rest of the sides look unsealed. I noticed that the ...

Has anyone used the Aquamix SameDay spray on grout sealer? I have used it a few times, but was a bit skeptical as to how well it really seals!I haven't had any long term experience with it yet. Any one had experience with it? I really like the fact that it leaves no residue once it dries. Just hoping it's not "too good to be true" JoeC

Its Ok for strength but I dont want water getting into those supports because it would not be able to drain and well you know what happens next. What product can I use on this to seal em up and paintable too... Thanks ahead of time

My parents decided to redo their kitchen and decided that they wanted tile countertops. My dad set the tiles and grouted it. He also put grout sealant all over the tiles cuz he was lazy. Now my mom is freaking out and saying that it's hazardous cuz there's sealant on the tiles and won't use the countertop now....

Just received a gasket set that has metal intake manifold gaskets, look to be stainless. I've rebuilt 3 engines thus far and haven't seen this yet. There is no paper or sealer on the gaskets at all like on FelPro gaskets to allow for expansion/cotraction. There is a raised circle around the openings for the intake passeges. Kit is an ELRING 482.840 kit from VDUB Parts Unlimited....

I thought I would share my latest modelling attempt. Like most of you, I thought it would be cool to have a minature version of my Panther. I stripped the body using "Really Works" paint remover. Used automotive quality Primer-Sealer, then Acrylic Enamel (Spruce Green) left over from painting my 1:1 steelies through a gravity-feed HVLP touch-up gun--NO clearcoat! It's my first time using Bare...

Went to get some new rear tires put earlier today and come to find out that one of my rear wheel has a hairline crack developing from the inside edge. The guy put some tire sealer on it to prevent leaking but I am going to need a new S4 wheel soon as I feel it's not safe to drive on this wheel for much longer. I am located in the San Mateo area and prefer FTF local ...

I've done 300 degrees for 15 minutes... nothing is budging at all... Im shoving a butter knife everywhere I can and the sealer isn't moving a bit... I've put it in for another 5 minutes while it was still hot... at 300 degrees... nothing... Do I just keep adding more time till finally it becomes workable?

I've been plagued from day one with a porous water/glycol coolant jacket in my Tunnel Wedge intake. One weld repair has proved unsuccessful and It's currently holding it's own running a coolant additive "block sealer". I plan on doing another tear-down to repair it (again) during the hard winter months. I'll do an elevated 100 psi pressure test prior to repairs also. Here's my thoughts and ...

Posted in Kitchens but if anyone has any experience or input, would be very appreciative! Travertine back splash + splattered grease in kitchen... Does is stain? Does sealing help this? Water vs solvent based sealer? (I have a fair amount of both already) TIA Here is a link that might be useful: Practical concern about travertine as a back splash
