I wanted to seafoam it (20k miles) but i dont know where would be a good place to put the seafoam in the throttle body b/c its upside down. Should i just put it in the brake booster or dribble it on the map sensor whole?? Thanks.

I'm thinking about buying a guitar on craigslist, but can't find out what it is.  It's a mexican strat in seafoam green (which fender doesn't even have on their color chart anymore), and it has gold hardware.  i know they made the 50s and 60s mexicans in different colors but the gold hardware throws me?  thanks for your time! seafoam problem My friend used seafoam today and his car doesn't turn on now. He put a 1/3 of the can in the vacuum from where the brake booster goes, and a 1/3 in the gas tank. The tank was around a little above E. After we poured it in the vacuum hose it shut off on its own, so we waited five minutes like it says on the can and...

Went to get my Z inspected today, failed at the low 15mph but passed at the >20 mph. Guy suggested seafoam, and from what i've read on this forum a lot of people have used it. So i get it and dump it in with a whole new take of some 93 oct. fuel. And run the engine like the guy described. Run engine, parked, at 2k for about 3-5 mins and then rev it up at WOT a couple of times to blow all my...

Okay, so some of you may recall I was having a pinging problem. To try and help it I changed my plugs, fuel filter, got a coolant flush and new thermostat and gave it a Seafoam treatment. No dice. Someone mentioned to disconnect the MAF, and see if the pinging stopped. This worked. I was told it meant two things- either a dirty MAF, or a bad MAF. When I cleaned it with contact cleaner and it ...

Hello, this is probably a first; but I was Seafoaming my car at about 3PM today when I went inside to grab my other half full can of Seafoam when my little nephew saw the funnel still on the car and so he poured about half the bottle of Powerade into my gas tank, probably trying to copy what I was doing a few seconds ago. I recently got water in my gas tank from a local gas station. The stealership drained the tank, but did not clean the fuel lines and injectors. After 4 fillups with seafoam to help clean out the fuel system, I still have a slight hesitation at WOT. I have no cell codes and it drives perfectly below 3-4k rpm. It doesn't appear to be a boost problem either. I have replaced the sparkplugs ...
