I\'ve just found two sellers offering the \'Classic\' (centre seconds sweep hand, automatic with date, as seen here: http://i133.photobucket.com/albums/q...o/PN-052-A. jpg with slightly different movement numbers. Can anyone tell me what the difference is? The movements are referred to as seagull 2555 automatic and seagull 2551 automatic Cheers, Harry

Just thought I would post my first experiences with a Sea-Gull movement watch I won on the bay for $15.50.It is an IK Colouring model 98092G.I was not expecting much at this price and the watch does have some cosmetic flaws. The cyclops is off and the 6 hour marker is off a bit also. The photos make the cyclops look worse than it really is.Please excuse the poor photos. The camera is very old. Contemplating about adding a Sea-Gull to the lineup. I like the Automatics with the exposed balance and in particular, the M172S with its guilloche detail, dark blue hands, and power reserve indicator. I found another one of the Sea-Gull service watches that differed slightly from the watch in this previous thread where Alpha-Getty showed this Sea-Gull: Among other questions was the meaning of the "service" part of the translated red characters. Well, I found this version on Taobao (note the much more usual "red dot" second hand) and it was displayed with a reasonable explanation: a ...

I\'ve just moved to my new place so I might place an order soon. Didn\'t wanna do it earlier as I didn\'t want it to arrive at my old place after I moved. But damn just realize the Internet at my new place is not ready yet. I\'m typing this on my bloody iPhone.
