Help... we have booked a Thomson Celebration Red Sea cruise for Jan 2010. Please can anyone advise whether to do the excursions to Petra, Cairo , etc... from the ship or to try do them ourselves in the ports and will they be cheaper... We obviously want to see/do everything possible but sadly we are on a budget....

We are doing the red sea cruise from sharm with thomson celebration In December. I dont see any comments on the forum.Is it elswhere? Does anyone know what currency is used on board and what visa do we need at the airport . In previous visits no visa was necessary if you were not going out of the area, but that is obviously not the case

Sorry but we are doing this Cruise leaving Feb 11th so can not help you. But I would take English Pounds and change them out in Egypt . we have been to Sharm for the last 4 years in Feb the evenings are cool and the day time can be very HOT. so be prepeared.

Dear karenand becs Thank you for your reply and will note all that you said, we know the days off the trips are going to be long and also tiring But we are fairly fit. And it will be a trip of a lifetime for us and as we have our second week to get over this by LAZING on the Beach and chilling out before we go home.

I have been reading on hernias and peritoneal dialysis. I have a dfferent problem I have a Prolasped bladder if I had surgery could I still do peritoneal dialysis does any body have this problem? cheers virtsma
