Hello all! My niece was here from Warrenton, VA area for Thanksgiving and asked if I had heard of an ice sculpture display somewhere in the Inner Harbor. She said she caught the tail end of something on the news talking about an indoor ice sculpture exhibit with a sliding board and other unusual sculptures that was open for viewing by the public. Just a heads up on this one-day outdoor art festival, which will be held this Sunday, 29th November, 2009 for the first time in HK. From what I understand, it was inspired by Sculpture by the Sea at Bondi Beach, Sydney. So I had to use basic circuitry to make an "interactive sculpture" for my principles of visual design class and I had already had an idea of making sticky bomb ornaments for fun... So combining these two ideas, glass ornaments, paint, blue LEDs, and 7 hours, the result was pretty cool. UNDERATED CLASSICS: Tommy Steele's sculpture of Elenor Rigby in Liverpool. I just love this sculpture. It was placed in 1982. Much greater than those John Lennon sculptures which just don't work.
