Hey guys, I am going to be widening the prepunched holes for the Tank Attach screws in my -7. Are there any secrets to this step? I plan on backing with a 2x4 and drilling them directly to a #19 bit, hoping the drill keeps itself exactly centered. Does anyone see any problems with this? Is this how others have done it? Since I have never done this, I don't want to get done and have ...

I have an off camera shoe cord and I'm trying to figure out the diameter of the thread that screws into the monopod, which is used to mount the corded flash to a monopod. I need to find a thumb-screw in this thread size for a DIY project. It is also the same thread size found on other items, like the tripod mount for my 70-200 any ideas?

Hi, I've read a few posts of people I thought had a similar issue as mine but cannot figure it out. My 2007 Frontier with 70,000km has started making a rattling noise under acceleration (usually between 30km/h and 60km/h) and it only seems to happen once the engine has warmed up. I've tried using high octane fuel in case it was preignition, however, after two tanks there has been no change....

Hey folks I have a problem on my homemade Tele - the screw hole nearest the neck was drilled a little too close to the control cavity, and the side has somewhat popped out, not all the way, but enough to be too loose for the screw - I can't use a bigger screw, because that will rip the existing hole right into the control cavity - essentially turning it into a vertical gouge. Ive had ...

> I'll probably catch some flak for this, but here goes anyway. I picked up an M1 from a friend. The stock has two screw holes where the grenade launcher site was attached. I was wonderimg what would be the proper way to fill these holes, say, as an armorer would have done. I really don't want to install the disk on the rifle and I don't like looking at those holes. ...

Not sure what this does. It had a small diameter plastic do dah on it that was mostly off. The inside looks clean so I thought maybe the plastic cover just recently came off. So what is this hole for? Should I cover it up with a plug?

Thanks for all the help on my last post. As I am starting the restoration, I would like to start with filling in all of the screwholes thorughout the boat. Any recommendations on the correct product to use for this?

I just used a #19 drill bit, drilled them to size, debured, and dimpled them. Like the rest of the kit, they will line right up. No need for a unibit. However, one advantage to the unibit is that it deburs at least one size. Just make sure you don't over drill them or take off to much aluminum with the next step on the bit.
