what should someone who is getting ready to join the marine corp and is mainly interested in the scout sniper program be studying and getting ready for before he goes to join. Such as ballistics observation, etc. and suggestions on how to practice and study such things

personally i like the airforce because i would probly go to security forces and then go to counter-snipers. and then get specialized in sniping then go to balckwater.... whats the better chance to get in blackwater as a countersniper? marines or airforce? Anybody using or used the TRU Ball Sniper Scout 2 release? What are your thoughts on it? I have been shooting a Carter Quickie 1 and have shot a Carter 2 shot in the past. I was thinking about going with a TRU Ball short-n-sweet since it is most similar to the Carter Quickie. Thoughts...input?

Is it possible to be a scout sniper if your vision isn't 20/20 both eyes? I have 20/20 vision in my right eye, but my left eye is 20/50, correctable to 20/40
