When I heard about this film last year I was pumped because it sounded like hard sci-fi material -- a lot of thought put into the alien designs to make them plausible, etc. Then I saw the trailers and was pretty disappointed. Is this Hollywood fluff, or genuinely thoughtful?

I LOVE Nolan and have ever since Memento , which blew me away at a young age. I've been following his work ever since and loving all of it (Well, Insomnia was sortof "meh," but still better than most). i can't see the video, but i do remember her saying that, if they were going to do a movie they needed to do it sooner rather than later. she said she wasn't getting any younger. also Lucy would not do Xena without Renee, so i also think it would depend on if they could get Renee on board also. i've been re-watching some of the episodes and i realized that they could've (if they had wanted) ...
