Or, more specifically, what does "schlep" mean to you ? I am mildly interested in Yiddish, because it's part of my heritage. Three-fourths of my great grandparents speak or spoke Yiddish. (The other fourth spoke Ladino, which is like Yiddish but with Spanish instead of German.) I am also very interested in the way the pronunciations and meanings of words change over time. This isn't ...

I'll be arriving at 34th and 8th by bus from Boston. I have to go to Queens on an errand. I do not want to schlep our bags there, as we must then return to the bus station area. Is there any place we can pay to store our bags temporarily near the bus station. Many thanks B

My son is 5.5 years old, 42 pounds, about 45 inches tall. He rides in a Britax Regent in my Honda Civic. We are going to be spending 2 months in Hawaii and I don't want to schlep the Regent. Should I bring a regular booster seat? (he doesn't have one yet, but they are easy enough to get a hold of) Or is there an easier/ smaller 5-point harness I can pack and take with us? I am not ...

I'm trying to decide whether Rio Celeste is a must-see on my first trip to CR. We'll be staying at AOL, and I know there's so much to do right there, but the pictures of that crazy blue water are so appealing! Do people think it's worth the schlep?

I'm still investigating additional alternatives. I hope I don't have to schlep the 24-in iMac 60 miles to Richmond.... The upside is you'll get a change to ogle at the new 27.5 iMac. Downside - your 24 might immediately seem less than desirable, especially on the way home. iMac 2.4GHz 4 GB RAM, ...
