Hello there, Before I start paying out on Visa costs, I would be grateful if someone could help. My husband had severe bacterial pneumonia in February in both lungs and was hospitalised. This has left with scarring on both lungs, labelled as bronchiectasis. He has been told that this may cause lots of chest infections and phlegm. He hasn't been ill since the pneumonia though. Whilst in ...

Scarring of Fimbrae I was told that i have scarring around my fimbrae. Does anyone have that problem? I was reading earlier about a surgery that can be performed called fimbroplasty. Has anyone had this surgery and if so how did it work out and did you achieve pregnancy afterwards. I have done IUI and 3 cycles of IVF ...

The background *optional to skip* : I have moderate acne (16-now), and a good amount of scarring because I mainly breakout on my cheeks. Never had a blackhead in my life, just too many whiteheads and inflamed grossness. The number of cysts I've had I can count with one hand. My brother has the same acne level as me, maybe a little worse 'cause he doesn't care as much as I do to clear it up...

...Ok. Sooo, what the heck? I was prescribed the generic version of Retin-A by my doctor, 0.05%. Before using it, my pores were virtually invisible...seriously, you couldn't see them at all. I was prescribed the Retin-A mostly to reduce scarring, but i had a couple buttons around my nose, so I used some of it there. But after using it around my nose, it seems like my pores were enlarged in...
A few months back I broke out with a couple large cystic pimples on my right cheek, which left a couple indents scars. When I look at my face front on the look like rolling scars. Very depressing. I have some other scarring but those ones are light and easily covered. ... I bought a 1.5 dermaroller and some emu oil and they have improved a little but I still hate the way my cheek...

Hi, I've been a scar sufferer for about 2-4 years, and although I do have some scarring on my face, my main concern is that which is on my back and neck. I used to get terrible cysts all over my back and neck, and as such, they are fairly scarred. My back is a combination of atrophic and hypertrophic scars, where as my neck is largely uneven texture and discoloration, with some ice pick ...

Hello, I have been suffering from cystic acne for the past five years or so and thanks to antibiotics, Retin A and birth control pills, I pretty much have it under control...However the acne has left unsightly scarring. At one time before all of the acne I HAD beautiful skin, I find myself depressed and preoccupied with this problem. Because of my insecurities I have looked into treatments ...

Well I've always hated some of the scars on my face and I would love to have this procedure done on some of my deep scarring. Costs isn't really an issue but I'm not entirely sure who I should contact. Has anyone here had a similar procedure done in the UK?

Hi everyone, I have been on accutane since late june (about 5 months). My skin is looking great- I cleared up around month 3 and have only gotten 2-3 pimples since... which is a miracle. I still have some scarring, but they seem to be fading. I currently have something that feels like a small cyst on my chin that has been there for awhile and has not gone away, but it is not painful ...
