Hi, We've been looking for a Scamp or Boler or something similar somewhere in California. We had hoped to buy our Aunt and Uncle's Boler that just sits outside being used as a bus shelter, but they didn't want to sell it. It's just going to become too difficult restore by the time they want to sell it. So sad! So we're looking for a 13 foot fiberglass rv that needs a bit of work and is in ...

Anyone have any experience with these bows? I have an opportunity to pick up a lefty and righty PSE Scamp II recurve bows with arrows for about 30 bucks....total. I like the fact that they are metal risered, but are the limbs still available to get? Thanks, Steve

Someone left a step stool in the kitchen. This is Scamp absolutely not contemplating how he could use it in an escape attempt, honest. Luckily he's easily distracted by food

I have spent a lot of time on the Scamp website lately. I notice that they only list a 20 amp converter. Does anyone know if it would be possible to order a Scamp with 30 amp power? Also, do they offer high lift axles and 14" tires, or just the 13" tires? And can you get linoleum flooring in a Scamp? Also, what is the price difference (roughly) between a 16' regular model and the ...

I am newbie to the forum and would appreciate your wise opinion and suggestions on my decision to buy a scamp for modification. I want to buy a trailer but I am a nervous! This is my situation: I am deployed to Iraq and my wife is unemployed for next three months. Not only do I need to keep her busy with a project at home but we want to go on a road trip and possible ...

Hey all, I don't post in this area much as I do not tow that much myself. However my parents, after a couple of years of looking and considering options, ordered a Scamp TT last winter, and picked it up just in time for Christmas last year. They had lots of fun with it for the first three months or so, and found that towing it behind their minivan worked very well. Had lots of good trips...

As I believe most are, my 13' 1988 Scamp came stock with 13" wheels. The spare tire was mounted directly to the shell via two long bolts that are embedded into the fiberglass. When I upgraded my axle to accommodate brakes and 15" wheels, I was left with a few issues to resolve. The position of the original 13" spare tire carrier bolts do not fit the lug nut hole pattern of the new 15" ...

I've got an 86 13' Scamp new to me and the PO mounted it permantly in the up position using a 2x4 screwed to front wall. How is it supposed to be mounted so it can swing up and down? I have the 'factory' hinges but need to know how and to what they mount. Same with rear table/bed.

Just bought a 1978 Scamp, all systems are working but it needs some asthetic TLC. Interior is in desperate need of paint. does anyone know what I should use? Also, cushions and covers need replacement, looked at Scamp website but fabric was ugly. Any ideas where to go for that? Appreciate any suggestions.

From Popbitch Quote: Football gossips are passing around the rumour that which manager is on borrowed time at his club after getting the chairman's daughter pregnant? He'd already fallen out with one of his star players over the girl, when he discovered the star was getting his end away with his young mistress as ...

We are buying a 2003 Scamp 16' deluxe (yeah!), which is in very good condition. The one thing that needs attention soon is caulking: both the previous owner and the RV service shop that inspected it tell me that the caulking on the roof -- around the vent, A/C, etc -- needs to be removed & redone. I am reasonably handy (sometimes), and willing to do this myself, but I would appreciate ...

I was given 13' Scamp last spring in pretty rough shape and i'm starting to look at what it will take to get it on the road. The obvious issues are:1) a large crack in the roof starting at the top of door opening and about 1 1/2 feet long(this is keeping the door from properly shutting); 2) mouse infestion; 3)Never had a camper before, so I don't real know even the basics of keeping up one ...

Alright bearing wizards.. I was repacking the bearings on the 13 Scamp before it's winter sleep and while gently tapping the grease seal in I seemed to get a little tap happy and pushed the seal further in then flush. Not wanting to have to try to get the new seal out at risk of damaging it, I decided to leave it in that way. The rims are off getting new tires and now I'm questioning ...

I am about to be the proud owner of a 99 Scamp 16. Hurrah!! I am a Vermont resident, visiting Idaho, and I will drive to Oregon to get the camper. Ugh!! I can't buy the camper until I go to see it (10 hr drive). I can't register it until I buy it, and I can't tow it after buying it cause it will take 20 days to get the plates after providing the documentation etc etc. In short, I have ...

I just did a fairly thorough cleaning on the scamp and got rid of all mouse traces. The only place I didn't get to was behind the frig and heater. I was wondering if it was a real pita to pull and put back the frig? I guess the heater has the same question to it. It is the suburban heater and I think the frig is the dometic. Archie

Hi. I just posted a for sale notice for our Scamp. I originally included my email address using the [at] method and then deleted it. Is it okay to post it this way? Is there any hazard in posting my phone number? Thanks, Parker
