I'm in need of a solution for scaling text outlines in an svg format. I'm working on developing a Flash app that allows users to type in Flash text with an outline that is then exported out in an svg format. When user then scales the resulting svg formatted file the outline scales in proportion to the text size.Similar to what Illustrator does in it's app preferences, "Scaling Strokes & ...

Hi I have an ASUS 1000HE running KDE 2010. I have noticed that about 50% of the time the netbook boots up and under Power | System Capabilities it tells me that Scaling Capability is disabled. I lose the supported CPU policies (Dynamic Ondemand etc). On other boots it is enabled but then the option "CPU freq scaling policy" in all power profiles doesn't have any selection (it's blank) and ...

Issue with scaling Images Hi there, I am creating an application for my company where the user can view the day's headlines in a mosaic-kind of way. when the user comes over the images with his mouse they scale to 1.1 of the original size. I know the scaling of images in flash is still very lossy and the scaled-up oder down images are ...

Anyone worried about other tanks scaling better than warriors? Looking at the items that drops in ICC it seems that Warriors will get even more behind. They say we can equip a ranged weapon and that would weight up the difference with Paladin/DK but looking at the nr's it doesn't look very bright. DK's will probably be one of the best tanks in ICC seeing all the bonus armor on items and ...

Scaling objects based on zoom I'm trying to scale objects based upon how close you zoom into them. I've got it working using wwd.getView().getEyePosition().elevation as the value, However I noticed this value is also changed when the view is tilted (pitch). And so if I tilt my view to 90 degrees, the elevation is 0-100, which ...

When I have an IE8 window open full screen the scaling or zoom shown in the lower right corner always shows 119 % instead of 100 %. What is setting the zoom to 119 %? I can't find any setting in IE8 that would do this. I want the screen to be at 100 % scaling/zoom unless I change it. 119% is not one of the zoom presets shown either. If I click on the zoom at the lower right corner, it ...

There's actually a big TL;DR at the far bottom of the two posts. Disclaimer: Encounter spoilers! This is aimed at high-end progress raiding in 3.3. It does assume you as a reader has a knowledge of progress-raiding in general (as in before they nerf stuff) and what lengths hardcore guilds goes to in order to gain advantages to down bosses as fast as possible. It also assumes you have a ...

First of all Shamans are considered a buffing class. WE are also a hybrid so after blizzards statements we shouldn't perform as well as the pure dps classes (rogue, mage ,lock, hunter). I don't see this as a big problem as we are currently still a powerful and fun class to play. And i have seen many raiderss get saved by some fast sniper heals. Or saving ourself if we ran out of the flames a bit ...
