I have MS Office 2007 Small Business running on Vista Home Premium. For months I have been using the "Save as PDF/XPS" option to save my word documents as PDF files. All of a sudden (started just yesterday 9/5/2008), when I click on the publish button within the "save as PDF dialog", I get the error: "This file is in use by another application or user." - I have tried ...

Version: 2008 Operating System: Mac OS X 10.5 (Leopard) Processor: Intel I have recently moved from PC to Mac. I have a word document created on a PC which includes a table of contents. On the PC I was able to create a "frames" version, with the section headers as links down the left hand side of the page. On the PC I was able to save both the no-frames and frames versions as Web pages. ...

I had a previous post on a similar question and have narrowed down the problem. How can I get shortcuts to folders to show up when I do a "Save As"? Obviously, others are able to. I have been able to in the past (before my Windows XP operating system was reinstalled). When I "Save As" with Word (or any other data file), any shortcuts to folders are invisible and therefore I cannot "jump" ...

Hi, I'm not that experienced with .Net, and I'm trying to make a download page which will force PPT files to be saved and not opened in IE. I got it to work with the below code, but in the "Save As" dialog box it shows the page's filename rather than the PPT filename. Anyone know of a solution to this? Am I forgetting something or doing something wrong? Any help would be appreciated, thanks....

I opened a .mkv movie file in QuickTime Pro and wanted to 'save as...' a .mov file, like someone on the forums said was possible, but the Save As ... option is greyed out. Now what? When I convert the .mkv with Turbo.264 it's all choppy, and when I convert it with VisualHub, it won't even start (get an error message)

Out client has requirement that "not save the reports on the server which are created by the users". So, we want to disable or remove the "Save as" but we do not want to disable or remove the "Save to my computer as" button from webi applet. Is there any way to do so? Thanks in advance.

When I click on a template, how do I get it to open a worksheet from the template and not the template itself? Before when I opened a template (xlt file) and hit save, a Save As pop up box promted me to save as a worksheet. Now when I hit Save any changes I made to the template saves as the template, so it is part of the template. Do ...

It could be your inherited rights - you can see whether it works by clicking the "Check Rights" button in the CMC and testing a users rights against an object.

I changed my dimensions on my blog page set-up to 850x1100px, 0 footer & header. Although I don't believe this was necessary. Now when I Preview & save as PDF to Iphoto is it perfect again. I ...
