Last Saturday night... I saw satire of Point Break in SF. Kathryn Bigelow (film's director) showed up to direct it! What a riot. Here is a 50 sec video from the show http://bit.ly/8luws6

I'm supporting this movie because it was smart and hilarious. Its a shame that America is too retarded to enjoy satire but I hope that doesn't end it for the rest of us. Sandra Bullock was in top form here and I would love to have those thighs at any age. I thought The Proposal sucked and that The Blindside is sweet but this film was pure entertainment. I hope Hollywood keeps making more ...

This is especially obvious in solo skirmishes when on a class with any amount of CC. Your soldier will mind their manners, but if you have an NPC that is helping out (like in many of the skirmishes, and a number of ...

If political satire isn't your cup of tea, you probably won't want to take a look at this parody of "Rudolph the Red Nosed Reindeer." http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wDUrs3Z35AE

This is not a satire. Seriously. This afternoon I sobbed for an hour, and I'm still choking a little. I got to Copenhagen's main Lutheran Cathedral just before the start of a special service designed to mark the conference underway for the next week. It was jammed, but I squeezed into a chair near the corner. The Archbishop of Canterbury, Rowan Williams, gave the sermon; Desmond Tutu read...

Hi, I'm a Freshman at State this year and have an Honors 202 class on satire with Dr.Linker (if any of you had had her). Our final was to pick 5 of 6 quotes that she gives us, identify the quotes (where they were from and their context), and write about their relation to the overall goal of the satire that they came from. In a different section of the class, also taught by Linker, she said she...

turn signals anymore? Is this a problem in your area? A little satire, OK? In my part of the USA, hardly anyone, including cops, uses the little lever that winks the lights that indicate the direction that the car will turn. I know that they work as Al Gore's program to reduce emissions requires that they be inspected annually and if they don't make the lights wink, no pass. Take turn signals...
