I just spoke with Customer Information Team here in UK asking how can I upgrade me Sat Nav maps for my hard drive based pro sat nav as I'm still using those that came loaded on the car when I purchased it in 11/08 They told me that the updates for hard drive maps are not yet available so the one I'm using (1-2008) is the most up-to-date... Whereas the dvd maps are available in 2-2009! Do...

I was thinking of getting a sat nav, but I was wondering if you can choose a destination by browsing an area and touching where you want to go (like on Google maps) (hard to explain)...... or can you only choose a destination by typing in a post code/address? For example, say if I wanted to go to some road but didn't know the post code or anything, can I just mark that ...

Hi. I have a Garmin Nuvi 350 updated maps and recent firmware upgrade, but it can't find the satellites through the windscreen, indoors it's fine just the damn Citroen car. Also have a Navman N40i, exactly the same problem, works fine except in the Citroen. Have tried them both at the top of the screen and all manner of places but no go. Hi All just upgraded my XK8 to an XKR Convertible which didnt have the manual for the Sat Nav - silly question but how do i set the time on the clock - i cant see an option for it in the menus ??? Also anyone know where i can det a disc for it to give me the large analogue clock (as dont seem to be any on ebay :() Thanks

Just bought a Ford Galaxy, 8 years old, with sat nav built in. I believe the sat nav cd-rom is the original 2001 version. Had a look around and cant find an update anywhere (not tried ford themselves as i'm told its around £300!!) Does anybody know where i can get one, thanks.

I wonder if anyone can help. I have a Sat. Nav. which (via the makers website)can update speed cameras etc. I did one update after we bought it six months ago and all was fine. I trid to do another about a week ago and got an error message, so was unable to do so. I got in touch with the manufacturer and tried a list of instructions from them but its still the same. Hi Folks I have a 2002 (old shape) Vogue The disc needs updating - The world has moved on a bit since then The makers of said disc want over £100 for the new disc At least Dick Turpin used to wear a mask I could get a brand new top of the range portable Tom Tom for that money Any ideas folks Have a great day
