A recent wonderful post about ferry service to Sardinia mentions flying as a viable option to the ferry (especially since I turn green after about 5 minutes on a boat). Does anyone have any information on airlines that fly to Sardinia from either Florence or Pisa?? Thanks.

Sardinia is an island with many faces and entirely different than Corsica. If sun and sea is your bag then Sardinia is the place to make tracks for. We will be flying from Florence to Sardinia early this summer and then back to Florence. We would like to find somewhere to store some of our luggage so we don't have to take all of it to Sardinia. I know from a previous thread that there do not appear to be luggage lockers at Florence-Pertola, though there was some mention of a checked baggage area. Can anyone advise me on this?? {subject...

Where can I get righting moment data for a fisher 46? Currently re-rigging mainmast in Sardinia. Northshore yachts no longer build Fishers and cannot help. Specifically I need the RM30 figure for further calculations. Wyatt and Freeman, the designers are no longer active as far as I can tell. Alan

Hi, We are about to book our flight so that we can spend part of our honeymoon in Sardinia . We are planning to rent a car, but neither of us can drive a stick-shift. Does anyone know if we will have issues renting a car that has an automatic drive?
