Hi, Rather than just continue this discussion in my other thread, best fire up this one to get people interested. After speaking with Citizen UK earlier this week, they have advised they will not offer a glass upgrade service (upgrading the standard mineral glass to sapphire crystal glass). Their comment was "if it wasn\'t born with saphhire glass we wont install sapphire glass" - even if there...

Well, the brand-new Zodiac Dragon Wing incurred three deep scratches on its mineral glass crystal on the second day of wearing it . . . does anyone know who could supply a sapphire crystal for this watch? That\'s my second pledge to myself-' + '-after pledging to bypass all quartz watches with second hands that don\'t index on the markers-' + '-and that\'s to never buy a watch with a mineral...

Hi guys I was just wondering why the speedmaster X-33 is a sapphire crystal and yet nasa approved it for space. I thought that the reason why the original speedmaster pro was chosen because it has a hesalite crystal that won\'t shatter in space? Thanks Daryl

Does anyone know the size of the crystal on the Citizen Skyhawk Atomic? I\'m talking to Harold/Yobokies (of sapphire seiko crystal replacement fame) about possibly doing some sapphire crystals for the U.S. model Citizen Skyhawk Atomic. He said he\'d consider it and would like the size of the crystal... I don\'t own the watch yet, but am about to buy one. PS - I know about the Promaster ...
Will do. But COA just received my watch, so it will take about 2 weeks. Quote: Originally Posted by jPhoenix Absolutely do post the result, I\'d be very interested to hear about your experience. Be sure to post a link to your thread here if you start a new one... Thanks
