Hi, I want to record the sound data in AAC format. I am able to convert the sound data from PCM16 to AAC and write it in a file. The file is playing properly on device as well as on other players on PC. The problem that iam having is the sampling rate at which the sound is recorded is at 16000Hz i.e. PCM16 sound, and i want the sound data of AAC at the rate of 22050Hz and 44000Hz at ...

I read the manual and get as below, it seems the sampling rate varies continously. But normally the sampling rate varies discontinously as step by step. Any suggestion? Internal sample clock frequency ........ 100 MS/s (USB-5133) sampling rate with decimation by n, 1 < n < 65,535

Hi all I'm confused between frquency response and sampling rate. I have a Logitech H330 USB headset which allows me to record into my audio software at a maximum 32000hz. I spoke to Logitech customer support and asked if they had any that record at 44100hz sampling rate or higher. They were suggesting headset mics with 100-10000hz frequency response . Can the sampling rate I am ...

Hi I have a Samsung BD-1600 blue ray player set to output signals in bitstream thur a HDMI cable to my receiver (Yamaha RX-V863) when I check the signal info on my receiver I can not seem to get a sampling rate of 96kHz I only get 48kHz. I've checked the settings and have the downmixing option shut off on the Blue ray. I'm Stumped, I'm starting to think it might be the Samsung?...

Hi everyone, Here is a part of a program from my friend (quite simple), the problem is that there is no Timing VI in both output process and input process (data acquisition process). In this condition, how can I know the data acquisition period, or the rate at which data points (samples) are being acquired (sampled). Thank you very much! Regards ...
Hi, I am planning to use a NI PCI 6010 together with a CB-37F-LP_unshielded to perform measurements of voltages less than 10V. The phenomena I am trying to study is very fast and I need to correlate it with 2200 fps videos. I saw that the PCI6020 has an aggregate sampling rate of 200KS/s. If I use this configuration, and all the 8 channels, what is my maximum sampling rate that I ...

The receiver I'm outputting to is the Pioneer VSX-516k/s. I'm assuming both are supported, since either one works when I switch to both ways. Which should I have it on? I have no idea what the difference between the two are, and audibly, I can't tell any difference. What's the advantage of either? What does it mean anyways?

"so as a rule of thumbs, the higher you can get the frequency response, the less distortion you usually get at lower frequencies. " Vince, I don't think you can make a case for this. In my experience, well designed audio circuits can have as wide or narrow as you may want and still be quite linear. Regards, Ty Ford Want better production audio?: Ty Ford's Audio ...

Hi Everybody, Thanks for the suggestions Kate! You can also read back the Actual record size directly through the niScope API--in LabVIEW it can be done with an niScope Property Node: If you were looking for something else don't hesitate to let us know. I hope this helps. -John Message Edited by John P on 12-01-2009 07:25 PM
